None of it was true. (Or so we’re told now.) And Herschel wasn’t even aware until much later that he was the star of this bit of science fiction presented as fact. The lithograph above accompanied one of the articles to illustrate what Herschel had “seen” through his giant telescope.
Not that I hate bands like Fleet Foxes or Grizzly Bear but I feel the need for some asskickin’ rock ‘n roll. So I put on the latest album of Baroness and I feel alive again. “The Blue Record” still sounds fabulous, even after the hype.
Last week I became victim of car accident in Italy. No fatal crash, but nevertheless an incredible pain caused by the ‘whiplash’ is keeping me paralyzed. The only thing I can do is watch tv or surf on the internet. “Every disadvantage has it’s advantage” once said a famous footballplayer from Holland. And yes, again he is right ! Finally I got some time to blog. So now I can tell you how much I appriciate the second album of ‘Lindstrom & Prins Thomas’.
